2 Companies I really admire and Why

Hubspot is a great resource for anyone interested in marketing. I've been a loyal reader of the company's blogs for a few years now and I have learned so much about marketing from reading their content. Hubspot also offers the public a chance to take their Inbound Marketing Certification and Email Marketing Certification in which I recently became certified.

Travel + Leisure provides great content on travel and food and it's my go-to guide whenever I research for places to visit. What I admire about Travel + Leisure is that it consistently provide entertaining content that I want to read even when I have no plans to travel.

Let me tell you about ...

When I was a Sales & Marketing Assistant at my previous position one of my responsibilities was replying to customer service emails. There was a customer who bought a book from the company's website months ago and was furious that she never received the book. I found out that there was a glitch with the internal system that led to the loss of her order information and contact information. When she contacted us about her missing order, I apologized to her, offered to expedite her order, and gave her a free $7 gift card for future purchases on the company's website. She was very understanding after I explained to her what happened. She was happy that her order was expedited and the free gift card. I learned that in situations where you have to deal with unhappy customers, you have to remain calm and still provide great customer service.
