COOP is proud to recognize the success of our alumni. We know that the over 6,300 folks who have completed our program are prepared to make a difference for themselves and their families through impactful careers.

May 2025

Masongo Ogora completed the Data Analytics track in Los Angeles in the spring of 2023. Prior to starting the fellowship, he was unemployed.

“One of my captains, Halimah Dos, helped me edit my resume before she sent it out to her contact at IPG Mediabrands. The COOP experience allowed me to apply the skills I learned to the interview process and the job itself.”

Through this support and what he learned, Masongo was able to land a position as a Search and Social Coordinator at OMG23.

April 2025

Ayesha Ramzan completed the Digital Marketing track in New York City in the spring of 2024.

The connections she made through COOP helped her land a role as an Assistant Planner, Social Strategy at Horizon Media. “I was able to connect with recruiters through the COOP x Horizon Media Open House.”

March 2025

Daniel Modesto completed the Digital Marketing track in Los Angeles as part of C432 in spring of 2024. He went from Uber driver to Associate Planner, Strategy & Investment at Zenith.

“After graduating...I felt conflicted, given I realized my whole life was essentially planned out from the moment I began school. Now, having graduated college, the keys to my journey were handed to me, but I didn't know where to go or what I could expect in front of me. Amid this conflict, I realized I needed assistance getting to the next level: my career. It was at this standstill that I remembered something both my professor and, unexpectedly, a COOP alumni told me about to continue to find a solution, and that was this program.”

February 2025

Ismael Garcia completed COOP Careers Financial Services track in the fall of 2024.

Midway through the semester, he was fortunate enough to get promoted to a Senior Accountant/ Internal Auditor from an Accounts Payable Clerk. Ismael was considering dropping out of the fellowship due to his new responsibilities. He stuck it out though because of the relationship he developed with his senior captain.

The folks he met at COOP helped him develop the “soft skills needed to speak to internal stakeholders and gain positive exposure (at Community FoodBank).”

January 2025

Brionna Johnson completed the Digital Marketing track in Chicago as part of C476 in the fall of 2024. She has this to say about her COOP experience, “the connections that I made during COOP have influenced my career journey in the sense of reassurance. Through my connections in COOP, I have met people from various backgrounds that have successfully pivoted into digital marketing and they have no problem giving bits of advice to fellows.”

Since completing COOP, Brionna has started a new position as a Media Associate at Starcom. The support she received and connections she made help her land this role.
