📢 Schedule change

We’ve updated COOP’s fellowship schedule to include three live sessions per week, giving you more flexibility to manage your time and stay on track.

  • Live sessions will take place on Monday - Wednesday evenings: Following opening night on Thursday, August 14, 2025, the remainder of COOP sessions will occur Monday through Wednesday evenings for the entirety of the 16 week fellowship.

  • After August 14, there will be no required live Thursday sessions. However, there may be optional employer partnership events that occur outside of fellowship hours, depending upon employer availability.

  • Flexible independent work: Outside of sessions, you’ll have up to four hours of weekly independent (asynchronous) work, which you can complete when it works best for you. Most assignments are due the Sunday after they’re posted. Your captain and program manager will clearly note what’s required for program completion, encouraged for extra growth, and optional for deeper learning.

💻 Class online tools

We will use a combination of Slack (for communication), Brightspace (for learning modules and assignment completion), and Coursera (for certificate completion) throughout the semester.

Assignments and other work will be done both synchronously and asynchronously throughout the semester.

For example, the Coursera certificate is a requirement to complete the fellowship. This work will take place outside of program time so fellows should plan their schedule accordingly.

You will receive access to all of these platforms the first week of program

📜 Professional certificate requirement
Completing the Google Digital Marketing and E-commerce Professional Certificate is a requirement outside of program hours and we recognize the challenges of balancing commitments.

You will have complimentary access to Google Digital Marketing and E-commerce Professional Certificate—an impactful learning experience designed to equip you with industry-leading digital marketing skills.

You will receive access to Coursera during the first week of program so no need to ask “where are my credentials.” We will get those to you soon!

☕ Coffee chats

Building connections with mentors is a key component of the COOP Careers Fellowship. Once the fellowship begins, we encourage you to set up virtual coffee chats and informational meetings with your program manager, captains, and alumni.

🕙 Office hours

Associate directors and program managers hold office hours each week. This is a great opportunity to ask questions, seek advice, or simply check in. We encourage you to make the most of this resource! Ask your captain or program manager for the Calendly links after your program starts.

You are expected to attend office hours at least once during the semester.

🤞 Code of conduct

COOP’s Partnerships Team will organize non-mandatory workshops, sessions, and networking opportunities outside of your regularly scheduled COOP program hour. You are not required to attend, but you are expected to honor your RSVP. You may be withheld from attending future events if you fail to show up for a registered event.

📌 Another opportunity
Kepler U, formally known as Kepler Academy, is an immersive virtual training and mentorship program designed to help candidates from historically underrepresented communities to break into the digital marketing industry.

The program participants will get a comprehensive view of the digital marketing landscape, attending trainings designed to teach students about SEM, Social Media Marketing, Digital Analytics and much more. Participants will also build and run live Google Ads campaigns deepening their understanding of concepts through hands-on application.

Additionally, participants will have access to a mentor who will guide them throughout the program, opportunities to connect with industry leaders, and interview training.

To participate in Kepler U, applicants must be based in the United States and actively attend virtual sessions between Mondays - Thursdays: 3 - 5 p.m. ET.

The application deadline is Friday, August 29 and cohort 10 will run from September 22 - November 13, 2025.
