Starting this fall, we will be hosting events in all of our regions to celebrate COOP’s 10 years of making a difference for first-generation, low-income college graduates. The night will consist of mingling, eating, drinking, and merriment!

Guests can expect to hear from our CEO and Founder, Kalani Leifer, board members, alumni, and current fellows. There will be entertainment, awards and other activities including dancing, live jazz music or even bowling (city dependent).

We hope you will join us to celebrate this milestone!

Registration is now open for NYC, Los Angeles, and Miami events. Click the city icon to register.

For 10 years, COOP has been dedicated to helping recent first-generation and low-income college graduates overcome underemployment, particularly those from underserved communities.

The free COOP Careers Fellowship provides intensive training, mentorship, career readiness curriculum and networking opportunities to help fellows develop the skills and connections they need to secure meaningful and upwardly mobile jobs.

COOP focuses on leveraging peer connections to propel fellows into successful careers by bridging the social capital gap that many first-gen and low-income grads face. The goal is to provide the needed intervention between college education and the professional world, ensuring our alumni are equipped to compete for and succeed in good jobs.

Here’s the impact you can make:

Joining COOP as a sponsor offers a unique opportunity to be part of a movement reshaping workforce development and closing the opportunity divide.

Ensure more first-gen college grads have the skills and network they need to succeed:

Every year, one million first-generation and low-income students graduate from college believing that a bachelor’s degree will provide long-term economic wellbeing for themselves and their families. A shocking number never realize this promise.

Help close the gaps that exist:

COOP closes the social capital gap and propels underemployed college graduates into upward economic mobility with three-in-four alumni being fully employed within a year and making an average salary of $50,000+.

Discover firsthand the profound impact of COOP's initiatives as it empowers graduates to overcome the challenge of underemployment.
