What is digital marketing?
Digital Marketing, also known as online marketing, utilizes websites, apps, mobile devices, social media, search engines, and other digital platforms to promote and sell products and services.
We see digital ads on our screens and in the news every day. The industry is worth almost $100 billion and boasts tens of thousands of job openings in the United States alone.
On page 21 of this recent report from the World Economic Forum, digital marketing and strategy specialists are in the top 30 for fastest growing jobs.
Launch your career in digital marketing
COOP Careers Fellowship teaches you the fundamentals needed to prepare you for a career in the digital economy, including paid search, paid social, media planning and buying, strategy, and account management. Fellows complete industry-recognized certifications aligned to their interests, including one primary digital marketing certification and one specialized certification in areas such as SEO, paid search, social, or analytics.

Preparing for an AI-forward labor market
Artificial intelligence is transforming how professionals work across industries, but it has also shaped the way professionals identify, research and land jobs. Throughout the fellowship, fellows will learn how to use generative AI and AI-enabled tools to support their job search and learn best practices for responsibly deploying AI for professional tasks such as analyzing information, summarizing insights, and preparing reports.

Digital marketing alumni: career journey
COOP’s Digital Marketing curriculum covers a wide range of topics, from foundational concepts to practical tools and strategies. It includes both theoretical knowledge in SEO, SEM, media planning, paid social as well as hands-on experience through a business simulation capstone project.
Digital marketing fellows working in pods of 4 choose a mock client brief and work to provide a set of deliverables, including reports and strategy summaries, mock ads, and a final presentation, that serve as a tangible work-like experience they can leverage during their career search and highlight during job interviews.
